DESCRIPTION
:
This auction features a designer “Daniel K” sterling silver
crystal
or CZ Cross pendant.  It also comes with the original Daniel K 925 necklace chain, too. The cross itself bears rectangular or “
baguette
” shaped clear stones.  I believe these are either crystal or CZ, as that appears to be the medium this designer uses the most.  The baguette stones are completely clear; however, there are a total of four square stones at each point that have a light yellow color.  I suspect these are likely simulated citrine.  Either way, all of these are actually incredibly bright and do sparkle wonderfully.  The cross is marked on the back, top portion of the bail portion with, “DANIEL K 925 THAI.”  The necklace chain appears to be original to the cross and is also marked with “Daniel K, Thai” and “925” hallmark on a small tag-like piece by the lobster-style clasp closure.  Finally, it does appear that there is a gold-wash or vermeil over the sterling silver on the necklace chain and the cross. THe cross appears to have a combination of both — at least to a certain extent — but the chain itself does have a gold wash seen.
Although I do feel this piece has been worn and loved in the past, I also feel it has plenty more years of life and use left in it.  Please do view the pictures as a part of the overall description, as well. This pendant appears to be in Fair condition
for the use of it
. It does have some minor use wear seen —
mostly in the form of minor surface scratches
. These do appear to be  localized to the back, though, and appear to be only visible under very close inspection (i.e. – a magnifying glass or loupe). I did still want to note it for accuracy. There is some minor soiling and tarnishing seen to the silver, but I’ll leave any polishing and/or cleaning to the new owner. I did note some of this tarnishing on the sides of the cross piece, but I do feel this will polish up without any issue should the new owner want to do so.  I have inspected the crystal or CZ pieces under a magnifying glass and – as far as I can tell – there are no major issues with any of these stones. I do not see any missing pieces, cracks, or damage. In fact, these are all actually quite reflective and bright. The original Daniel K necklace chain does come with this, as well. Although there is some tarnishing beginning to show through the gold vermeil, it is in otherwise Fair condition too. The smaller lobster-style clasp does still open and close correctly, as well.
